Chelsea Under-18s hit eight in thrashing of Leicester

Jude Soonsup-Bell scored four for Chelsea Under-18s in an 8-1 demolition of Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

There were also goals for Silko Thomas, Joe Haigh, Benjamin Elliott and Harvey Vale in a totally one-sided game at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.


The hosts were 4-1 up at half-time after a brace from Soonsup-Bell and goals from Thomas and Haigh.

Soonsup-Bell, a 16-year-old forward who was previously with Swindon Town, completed his hat-trick early in the second half.

And, after Elliott and Vale netted with penalties, Soonsup-Bell completed the rout late on.
