Chelsea’s Mason Mount scored for England as they opened their Under-19 European Championship qualifying campaign by coming from behind to win 4-1 against Hungary.
Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James, also of Chelsea, and goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe of Brentford featured as well in the game in Macedonia, where England were 1-0 down at half-time.
Midfielder Mount, currently on loan with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, equalised before setting up two goals for Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson.
Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund capped the victory with a late goal.
Chelsea’s Dujon Sterling and Jamie Cumming were unused substitutes.
