Izzy Brown is set for a loan move to Leeds.
The Chelsea youngster is looking for more first-team football, having recovered from a long-term knee injury he suffered while on loan at Brighton last season.
Brown, 21, was previously on loan at Huddersfield, who he helped win promotion to the Premier League, Rotherham and Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
Several Championship clubs have expressed an interest in the midfielder but talks with Championship leaders Leeds are at an advanced stage and he looks likely to move to Elland Road before the loan window closes on Friday.
Brown was signed by Chelsea from West Bromwich Albion in 2013.
His solitary first-team appearance for the Blues came against Albion, when he came on as a substitute on the final day of the 2014-15 season.
