Chelsea’s Abraham close to Newcastle loan move

Tammy Abraham appears to be close to agreeing a loan move to Newcastle.

The Chelsea striker, who scored 26 goals while on loan at Bristol City last season, is wanted by a number of clubs, including Brighton.

But Newcastle, recently promoted to the top flight along with Brighton, are looking to tie up a deal to sign the 19-year-old for next season.

Chelsea are keen for him to pick up first-team experience in the Premier League following his prolific campaign in the Championship.
