Keeper Willy Caballero plays and Olivier Giroud will lead Chelsea’s attack in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, where Emerson again starts.
Blues boss Antonio Conte suggested he was considering starting with both Giroud and Alvaro Morata up front.
But Morata is on the bench, with Giroud supported by the recalled Eden Hazard and Willian.
Emerson’s fitness was assessed ahead of the game and he again plays in place of the suspended Marcos Alonso.
Antonio Rudiger and Gary Cahill get the nod in defence, with Andreas Christensen among the substitutes.
Southampton, meanwhile, are without Sofiane Boufal, but Mario Lemina has been passed fit to play. Jack Stephens is suspended.
Former QPR striker Charlie Austin starts for the Saints, who do play with two up front. Austin partners Shane Long.
