Chelsea trio feature as England U19s hammer Belarus
Chelsea trio Jay Dasilva (pictured), Dujon Sterling and Trevoh Chalobah featured as England Under-19s ended their European Championships qualification campaign with a 5-1 win against Belarus.
Dasilva captained the side, while Sterling also started and Chalobah came off the bench midway through the second half. Another Blues youngster, Mason Mount, was an unused substitute.
Chris Willock of Arsenal scored twice and the other goals were scored by Lukas Nmecha and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts of Manchester City and Tottenham’s Marcus Edwards.
On Saturday, four Chelsea youngsters featured as England sealed their place at the European Under-17 Championships with a 4-0 win against Slovenia.
Marc Guehi was captain, while George McEachran and Jonathan Panzo also started the game in Bijeljina, Bosnia & Herzegovina, where Callum Hudson-Odoi came on as a second-half substitute.
Manchester City’s Jadon Sancho scored twice and there were also goals for Timothy Eyoma of Tottenham and Reading’s Daniel Loader.
