Chelsea striker Remy joins Crystal Palace
Chelsea striker Loic Remy has joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan.
The Frenchman has been pushed down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Michy Batshuayi, and West Ham were also interested in taking him on loan.
Remy, 29, joined the Blues in August 2014 from QPR and has scored 12 times in 47 appearances.
He had become a Rangers player in January 2013 but went on loan to Newcastle after the club were relegated.
It was his record of 14 goals in 27 games for the Magpies that alerted the attention of Chelsea.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Blues confirmed Patrick Bamford had joined Burnley, also on loan.
