Chelsea striker Piazon expects loan move
Lucas Piazon says he has been told by Chelsea he will be sent out on loan again but has yet to decide which club he will join.
The Blues striker spent last season at Reading, scoring five times in 27 appearances, and has also had spells with Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Brazilian, 22, has played only three times for Chelsea, making two starts in the 2012-13 League Cup and also coming on during the 8-0 win over Aston Villa that season.
“I am supposed to be going out on loan again and I am waiting to see where I go,” Piazon told ESPN.
“I have not yet decided where I may go out on loan. I have spoken to some clubs about going there, but nothing is 100 percent with anyone and I am just thinking things over.
“Myself and Chelsea will make a decision where to go and then I will try and make an impact when I get there.”
Piazon, who has two years left on his Chelsea deal, admitted he and the other players who were not in Antonio Conte’s immediate plans felt frustrated as they waited to hear of their future.
He said: “It is a little bit hard to prepare for the season when you know that you are probably not going to play in the first team.
“We are all planning to go out on loan and we all try to help each other and try to motivate each other. We all train together and stay in the same place so the relationship is good between everyone.
“The experience of playing in other leagues has helped me and I have no preference where I go on loan. I just want to play and try and do a good job for someone.”
