Moses close to return from injury
Victor Moses is close to returning to action following a hamstring problem.
The Chelsea wide-man has not played since going off injured during last month’s defeat against his former club Crystal Palace.
Blues boss Antonio Conte, whose side face Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday and a league game at Liverpool three days later, is hopeful Moses will soon be available.
“Moses is progressing well and I hope to see him back next week,” said Conte.
Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda are not expected to be in the squad for Saturday’s game at West Brom because of ankle and knee problems respectively.
However, David Luiz, who was dropped by Conte for the recent win against Manchester United, will be included in the squad for the trip to the Midlands.
Gary Cahill, who did not feature in England’s recent games, is also in the squad.
Conte has refused to comment on reports of a fall-out with Luiz.
“I think I stay here to speak for the team before the West Brom game, not a single player. I don’t like to speak about a single player,” he said at a news conference on Friday.
