Hazard fit to return for Chelsea at Palace
Eden Hazard has been passed ft for Chelsea’s game at Crystal Palace.
The Belgian missed the midweek win at Sunderland with a knee problem but trained on Friday and is available for Sunday’s derby at Selhurst Park.
But with his team in the midst of a busy month, Blues boss Antonio Conte has suggested that Hazard might not return to the starting line-up against the Eagles.
“He is fit. Then I have to see if I decide to put Eden in the starting 11. But he is fit,” Conte said.
“For not only him, but also the other players, I have tonight to decide, because it is not easy to play three games in six days.
“We played against Sunderland and we came back at 4am and have only one day to prepare for this game and we play at 12.30.”
Conte also confirmed that Chelsea have no new injury worries ahead of Saturday’s game.
