Chelsea settle for a point at Burnley
Burnley 1 Chelsea 1
Chelsea were unable to open up a 12-point gap at the top of the Premier League – and had to work hard to secure a draw.
Pedro gave them an early lead when he rounded off fine move with a resounding finish on seven minutes.
Burnley had won their previous four homes games without conceding a goal and hit back after going behind.
Robbie Brady, making his full debut following a January move from Norwich, equalised with a stunning free-kick midway through the first half.
And the Clarets would have scored again before the interval had Blues keeper Thibaut Courtois not produced a superb save to deny Matt Lowton.
Chelsea did not have a single shot on target in the second half and had to absorb plenty of pressure.
Courtois came to their rescue again, this time to save from Andre Gray after the striker had been put through on goal.
