Chelsea are likely to discuss the short-term future of youngster Nathan Ake this week.
Ake’s representatives are expected to hold talks with the club over a possible loan move for the Dutch teenager.
Several Championship clubs are keen to sign Ake and there has also been interest in his native Holland.
Ake, 18, made his first-team debut for Chelsea against Norwich in December 2012 and has made six senior appearances, three of them in the Premier League.
This season he has captained the Blues’ in-form Under-21 side, who are unbeaten in their last 13 matches.
He signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge last summer.
