Chelsea reject offer for defender Christensen

Chelsea have turned down an offer of around £14m for defender Andreas Christensen from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Christensen, 20, signed a two-year loan deal with Moenchengladbach last summer and has played 39 games for them, including five in the Champions League.

The German club now want to make the move permanent, but the Blues have rejected their approach.

Christensen has made three first-team appearances for Chelsea, including in the FA Cup defeat by Bradford in January 2015.
