Chelsea ready to let Hudson-Odoi go on loan
Chelsea are ready to let Callum Hudson-Odoi leave on loan in January.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the 18-year-old forward ahead of the transfer window and Chelsea have indicated that they will allow him to move elsewhere in order to play first-team football.
Chelsea are open to letting him join another Premier League club, although it would be one in the bottom half of the table rather than a direct rival.
Hudson-Odoi has made seven senior appearances for the Blues and impressed hugely prior to Maurizio Sarri taking over as boss during the summer.
He also caught the eye during pre-season but has not made a league appearance under Sarri, with his only two first-team appearances this term coming as a substitute in Europa League matches against BATE Borisov.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are strongly interested in Anthony Martial and are considering making Manchester United an offer for the French forward.
And former Chelsea star Pat Nevin has told West London Sport he expects Chelsea to bring in a striker suited to Sarri’s style of play.
