Willian says Chelsea must play the “perfect” game to beat Barcelona and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
The first leg at Stamford Bridge was drawn 1-1, meaning Barca have a crucial away goal going into Wednesday’s game.
A memorable display in adversity at the Nou Camp saw Chelsea advance ahead of Barca in April 2012 and they went on to win the competition. The Blues are hoping for a repeat this time around.
“I was watching that game, but for me every game has history,” Willian said.
“This game already is in the past. Tomorrow will be a new history, new game.
“I think for us to go through we have to do a perfect game with the ball and without the ball.
“That’s the most important thing. To go through to the next round we have to do a perfect game tomorrow.”
