Chelsea’s Kane makes his seventh loan move

Chelsea’s Todd Kane will spend the rest of the season at Oxford United – his seventh loan move.

The 24-year-old right-back spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Groningen in the Netherlands, where he was previously on loan at NEC Nijmegen – where he suffered a long-term knee injury.

Before that, Kane had loan spells at Preston, Nottingham Forest, Blackburn and Bristol City. He has not made a first-team appearance for Chelsea.
