Kane makes his ninth loan move from Chelsea

Todd Kane has joined Hull City on loan from Chelsea – his ninth loan move away from Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old defender will spend the coming season on loan with the Tigers, giving him another opportunity to play first-team football.

Kane, who has not made a senior appearance for Chelsea, ended last season on loan at Oxford United.

He has previously been at Preston, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, had two spells on loan Blackburn, and been loaned to Dutch clubs NEC Nijmegen and FC Groningen.

Meanwhile, Chelsea youngster Mason Mount is close to a loan move to Derby County.
