Chelsea still interested in Monaco’s Mendy

Chelsea are still showing an interest in Monaco left- back Benjamin Mendy.

Reports have linked the Blues with Juventus’ Alex Sandro – but they could still make a move for France international Mendy.

He was identified by Chelsea earlier this year as a possible signing during this summer’s transfer window.

Monaco are currently demanding at least £40m for the 23-year-old, who is also wanted by Manchester City.

Mendy was a key player for Monaco as they won the French title last season, but he is interested in a potential move to the Premier League.
