Chelsea striker Didier Drogba took part in Chelsea’s training session on Tuesday, easing fears that he could be ruled out of Wednesday’s Champions League opener.
The Ivorian was not part of the squad for Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Swansea after picking up an ankle injury.
But he was involved in the session at Cobham just over 24 hours before the game against Schalke at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba has yet to start a match since returning to the club in the summer, but appeared as a substitute in all three of their opening Premier League games.
Meanwhile, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that the club expect Eden Hazard to sign new contract.
