Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink fears Pedro may not be fit to play in Chelsea’s Champions League and FA Cup games next month.
The Spaniard limped off after just six minutes of the 2-1 win at Southampton after picking up a hamstring injury.
Pedro seems almost certain to miss Tuesday’s trip to Norwich and next Saturday’s home game with Stoke.
Even if he is able to face Paris St-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League on 9 March, Hiddink fears he may have to rest Pedro for the FA Cup quarter-final at Everton to avoid further injury.
Hiddink said: “We will see. We now have a tight schedule.
“PSG is just before the Everton game. I think he might be fit at that time but then I don’t know if he is fit again for the Everton game [if he plays against PSG].”
