Chelsea were beaten by Norwich in the FA Youth Cup final, losing 3-2 at Stamford Bridge and 4-2 on aggregate.
One down from the first leg at Carrow Road, Chelsea were given a massive boost when Jeremie Boga fired home from the edge of the box after 15 minutes.
But two defensive mishaps from the Blues – Adam Nditi’s own goal and a penalty given away by Alex Davey – meant Norwich were firmly in command by half-time.
After Chelsea switched off at a short corner, Nditi turned Josh Murphy’s low cross into his own net.
Worse followed for the home side when Cameron McGeehan, whose last-minute penalty secured Norwich’s first-leg win, scored from the spot again.
McGeehan, a Chelsea fan released by the club as a 14-year-old, slotted the ball into the bottom corner after Davey had brought down Carlton Morris.
Chelsea piled forward in the second half but could not find a way past Canaries keeper William Britt, who denied Lewis Baker and Islam Feruz.
And Norwich’s victory was sealed when they scored on the counter-attack with 14 minutes remaining, Josh Murphy tapping in after being teed up by his twin brother, Jacob.
To their credit, Chelsea kept attacking and got a late consolation when Boga scored his second goal of the game, finishing well after exchanging passes with Charly Musonda.
