Chelsea interested in Russia forward Chalov

Chelsea are keen on CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov.

The Blues will consider discussing a January deal for the 21-year-old if the club’s transfer ban is lifted.

Chelsea expect to find out next month whether their Fifa-imposed punishment has been overturned after lodging an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Chelsea scouts have been tracking Chalov – and Crystal Palace retain an interest in the Russia forward after having a number of offers rejected in the summer.
