Costa expected to be fit for PSG game
Diego Costa is expected to be fit for Chelsea’s Champions League round-of-16 clash with Paris St Germain on Wednesday despite missing the 1-1 draw with Stoke through injury.
Costa, who has scored 10 goals in his last 14 appearances, was left out against the Potters because of a slight tendon problem.
But Guus Hiddink said the Spain striker should be available when the Blues look to turn around a 2-1 first-leg deficit against the French champions.
“He had a little problem on a tendon,” the Blues boss explained.
“That is why I was a bit cautious not to have the risk of worsening that situation, but I think he will be okay on Wednesday.”
