Marcos Alonso and David Luiz will sit out Chelsea’s FA Cup game at Wolves but captain John Terry is fit again after an ankle injury.
Left-sided player Alonso has been troubled by pain in his leg for much of the season and will be given a chance to rest up.
Luiz has been playing with a knee injury, which he suffered after being fouled by Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero in early December, and was in obvious discomfort after the 1-1 draw at Burnley last weekend.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte confirmed the pair would be left out for the fifth-round tie at Molineux.
He said: “All the players are available but for sure there are situations that are better to keep under control.
“For Marcos Alonso, [we want] to give him a bit of rest, also for David Luiz, we have the opportunity to give him a week to recover well and to prepare for the next game.
“His knee is okay. He has improved a lot, if you compare his knee after the game against Manchester City.
“John Terry is fit for this game, he is okay.
“All the players are in good form, I have only the problem to make the best choices for the game.”
