Chelsea and Brentford players feature in England Under-21 win

Chelsea duo Callum Hudson-Odoi and Marc Guehi featured for England Under-21s along with Brentford’s Josh Dasilva in a 2-1 win over Turkey.

The England line-up for the European Under-21 Championship qualifier at Molineux also included Norwich’s Hammersmith-born right-back Max Aarons.


And Dasilva’s Brentford team-mate Halil Dervişoğlu missed a chance to equalise for Turkey when his second-half penalty was saved by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsey.

Dervişoğlu did, however, find the target when he pulled a goal back for his side in injury time.

The opener was an own goal by Hüseyin Türkmen, who deflected in a cross from former Fulham man Ryan Sessegnon.

Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah also missed a penalty but later netted the second goal for England, whose win sealed their place at next year’s tournament.
