Chelsea confirm Hutchinson loan deal

Sam Hutchinson has joined Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan, Chelsea have confirmed.

West London Sport revealed at the weekend that Forest wanted the Blues defender, and by Thursday afternoon it was clear a deal was virtually in place.

The 23-year-old signed in time to make his Forest debut in their league opener against Bristol City on Saturday.

Hutchinson retired from the game in 2010 because of a knee injury but made a surprise recovery and returned to Chelsea to sign an 18-month contract in December.
