Chelsea confirm deal to sign striker Fofana

Chelsea have confirmed they have agreed the signing of forward David Datro Fofana.

The Ivory Coast international, 20, has been bought from Norwegian club Molde and will officially become a Blues player on New Year’s Day.

Chelsea were among a number of top European clubs to show an interest in the highly-rated youngster.

Meanwhile, Chelsea say they expect Reece James to be sidelined for up to a month with another knee injury.
