Chelsea complete deal for Chukwuemeka
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa.
The Blues announced earlier this week that they had agreed a deal with Villa for the 18-year-old, who has now put pen to paper on a six-year contract.
“Carney is one of the most exciting young players in Europe so we are really looking forward to seeing him in action at Stamford Bridge,” chairman Todd Boehly said.
“We are delighted to be able to bring him to Chelsea and add such a talented young individual to our squad for the new season and beyond.”
Chukwuemeka came through the ranks at Villa and made 12 appearances in the Premier League last season.
He was part of the England Under-19 squad which recently won the European Championships, scoring in the final against Israel.
