Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says he still believes Fernando Torres can come good.
The £50m striker has now gone 20 matches without scoring and was ineffective again against Birmingham on Saturday.
The FA Cup tie against Championship opposition was billed as a chance for Torres to finally break his duck, but he struggled badly before being substituted at half-time.
Villas-Boas is expected to drop Torres for Tuesday’s clash with Napoli, but dismissed reports that Chelsea are ready to give up on the Spaniard.
“His confidence is low but we will have to continue to persist with our belief in his talent,” he said.
“Everybody is desperate for him to score. Everybody pushes him, praises him in training and it [a goal] will come with him getting opportunities.”

Torres should feature in all our games. I strongly believe that he will come good.
