Conte refuses to comment on Sanchez speculation

Antonio Conte has again refused to comment on reports linking Alexis Sanchez with a move to Chelsea from Arsenal.

The Blues boss was asked at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon whether his club had received any indication that Sanchez would welcome a move to Stamford Bridge.

It follows reports that the Chilean is keen to join Chelsea in the summer rather than sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, where his contract is due to expire next year.

But Conte maintained his policy of refusing to comment on potential transfers.

“You know I don’t like to speak about players of other clubs,” he said.

“It is respect for the (other) club and for my players. It is not the right moment to speak about this.”
