Hazard poised for Chelsea return
Antonio Conte has confirmed that Eden Hazard is back in the Chelsea squad for Saturday’s game at Leicester.
Hazard, who had ankle surgery during the summer, has not played for the defending champions so far this season.
But he returned to action for Belgium in recent internationals against Gibraltar and Greece.
And Blues boss Conte said: “Now Eden is available and is in the list for the game tomorrow.
“I think he is improving and has done a lot of work to be ready and I think now I can count on him.”
But Conte hinted that Hazard is unlikely to play the full 90 minutes against the Foxes.
“I have to decide the right moment and the right minutes but for sure he is available now,” the Italian said.
“When there is a bad injury and surgery it is normal to pay attention to his recovery.
“He is an important player for us and it’s important to play soon but also important to continue to play.”
