Chelsea boss believes Terry will stay
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reiterated that he believes skipper John Terry will still be at the club next season.
Terry’s contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire this summer and there has been speculation about his future given that he has yet to sign a new deal.
But Mourinho has insisted the 33-year-old former England centre-back remains part of his plans.
Mourinho said: “The only idea I have is that the manager wants him to stay but contracts are between the player and the club. I never have any involvement in this. They will find the right moment.
“The manager wants him to stay, the club know I want him to stay, he wants to stay, so normally he is staying.”
