Chelsea have been £40,000 by the Football Association for failing to control their players in the Premier League game against Arsenal last month.
Amid several flare-ups late in the first half, Arsenal defender Gabriel was sent off and Blues striker Diego Costa received a retrospective ban following an altercation with Laurent Koscielny.
Both teams admitted the charge, and Arsenal have been fined £30,000.
The discrepancy between the two sanctions was down to the previous disciplinary records of both clubs, the FA said.
Costa has served his three-match ban and will return for the 17 October clash with Aston Villa.

Everything was instigated by the classless rabble that is Chelsea FC. And now that they are finally back where they belong (in the lower depths of the league and a laughing stock) people can realise that they have never been a 'big' club, have bought all their recent success usually playing dour anti-football in the process and still remain a small club that have been RELEGATED more times that they have won titles. Says it all really!
