Chelsea’s Musonda to rejoin Betis on loan

Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda will spend next season on loan at Real Betis.

A deal has been agreed for the 19-year-old midfielder to return to the Spanish club, where he ended last season on loan.

A Belgium Under-21 international, Musonda joined Betis in January and made 16 appearances for them.

He is regarded as one of Chelsea’s best prospects, having won the Under-21 Premier League, Uefa Youth League and the FA Youth Cup during his time at the club.

Musonda will be managed by former Chelsea star Gus Poyet, who was appointed as Betis boss last month.
