Burnley v Chelsea line-ups: Emerson plays and Rudiger recalled as Blues make six changes

Chelsea start with both Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata up front at Turf Moor, where Emerson Palmieri makes his first Premier League start.

The Blues, without the injured Danny Drinkwater – who has a groin problem – and the suspended Marcos Alonso, also include Tiemoue Bakayoko in their starting line-up and there is a recall for Antonio Rudiger.

With Chelsea facing an FA Cup semi-final against Southampton at Wembley on Sunday, Eden Hazard has been named among their substitutes for tonight’s game, as has Willian.

They make six changes in all, with Pedro and Victor Moses also recalled to the side.

Burnley: Pope, Lowton, Long, Tarkowski, Ward, Lennon, Cork, Westwood, Gudmundsson, Barnes, Wood.
Subs: Heaton, Bardsley, Taylor, Marney, Hendrick, Wells, Vokes.

Chelsea: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Emerson, Pedro, Morata, Giroud.
Subs: Caballero, Zappacosta, Christensen, Fabregas, Barkley, Hazard, Willian.
