Chelsea’s Brown wanted by Brighton

Brighton have expressed an interest in taking Izzy Brown on loan from Chelsea.

Midfielder Brown, 20, impressed while on loan last season at Huddersfield, who were promoted to the Premier League along with Brighton.

The Yorkshire club, who have re-signed Kasey Palmer on loan from Chelsea, are keen to sign Brown on a permanent deal.

Brighton, meanwhile, have enquired about a potential season-long loan.

Brown, who was signed from West Brom in 2013, has made one first-team appearance for Chelsea.

He has also been on loan at Rotherham and Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
