Boss Mourinho to contest FA charge
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said he will contest a charge of improper conduct following the 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa last Saturday.
The Portuguese was sent off following a fiery conclusion to the game at Villa Park and was subsequently charged by the Football Association.
Mourinho has until Monday to respond and said he would be appealing – although he refused to say why.
“I don’t accept the charges,” he said. “I have to do it [appeal] privately. But for obvious reasons I don’t accept the charges.”
Mourinho was sent off after going onto the pitch to remonstrate with referee Chris Foy following the injury-time dismissal of Ramires, whose Chelsea team-mate Willian was also sent off during the game.
He was critical of Foy after the match, even suggesting the official should not take charge of future Chelsea fixtures.
“Maybe it is helpful that the committee doesn’t send him to our matches,” said Mourinho.
“I don’t have the right to request that – I just think they have to analyse the situation and see. I think maybe it would be a good decision.”

The suspension of chelsea’s ramires was fair.but for willian no.a good referee always want to see every game ending with eleven players per team.
