Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka remains confident he will be able to keep Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford for the rest of the season.
Bamford is on loan with the Teessiders until January but the deal is widely expected to be extended.
He impressed in the Championship while on loan at Derby last term and is in good form for Boro – he scored his seventh goal of the season in their 5-1 win at Millwall on Saturday.
And Karanka said: “I am sure that he is going to be with us until the end of the season.
“I am happy because Patrick wants to be here and that’s the most important thing.
“Patrick’s happiness is the most important thing and Jose [Mourinho] knows he is happy.”
