Blues boss explains Schurrle substitution
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said he took Andre Schurrle off against Stoke because the German picked up a calf injury.
Schurrle scored twice and hit the bar before being substituted with 20 minutes remaining at the Britannia Stadium, where the Blues were beaten 3-2.
Mourinho revealed that the player had asked to be replaced because he was struggling with the problem, which will be assessed in the next 48 hours.
“He came off because he had a calf injury and he told me he couldn’t continue,” said Mourinho, who again heaped praise on Eden Hazard.
After an outstanding performance in the midweek victory at Sunderland, Hazard was impressive once more.
Mourinho declared: “He isn’t dribbling from left to right or right to left anymore, he is attacking defenders, trying to score and trying to give the last ball.
“You can say on Wednesday he was better, but not much better. He was fantastic again.”

Morinho is a confused coach, he needs to cool his head , study chelsea players, he is suppose to know dat john terry and lampard shud not b playin dis much. Our last match puting two week player on d pitch wen he is luking 4 a goal is a mistake, his substitution was wrong, dat is why we loose d game. He shud get his game right on time, or else I wud agree with d fans dat want him fired.

i wish mourinho should be sacked bekos he is responsible for what chelsea are going true.he is too sentimental.terry and lampard are too old but he keep on using them instead of luiz and cahil or ivanovich bekos he is not playing well at right back. Mourinho is confused

You are very stupid to say muoriho should fired by Mr,Abrmovich, dont u knw dat Luis is injured an not yet ready, instead of u to blame torres an co for missing does good chancess we had in de first half u re dere talking about terry, dont u knw dat if does chancess re well taken chelsea could hav more balance. If u fire muoriho who would u bring in as coach dat is better than him? What chelsea need is a young strong striker cos our three strikers are old an not good at all. @ Joseph Porto and ebere, both of you need to shut up, mourinho is doing as well as he can and if the team cant perform its not his fault. terry was in excellent form before so you cant blame mourinho for playing him, plus david luiz is injured so he cant play, also when david luiz played against everton and newcastle he made mistakes that led us to concede and loose the game, if you want abromovic to fire him then you are a fake plastic fan, go back to man utd or watever shitty team u came from

Joseph u need to calm down mate!! i tottaly agree with u about JT, the biggest mistake we made as a football club was keep him. For me he is a liability, he is to slow breaking up play when the opposistion attacks u just to have a look at his games at Sunderland, and now Stoke to realize he is not the same player as he once was. I really hope we sell him, Obi Mikel, Essian, Ba, and Eto in January. I would also get rid of Cech in the summer, along with Ashley Cole, and Frank Lampard. Lukuku to come back in the summer, and Falcou to come in January with both Ba, and Eto going the other way. Bring back Romeu in Jan from Valacia as he is not getting game time, i would also reacall Piazon, and Wallace back as he is not getting game time at Inter Milan.
We should get Courtiou back in the summer and give him a new contract Jose should make him our number 1 goalkeeper next season, and also give more game time to DeBryne. Saking Mourinho what a joke mate, that woud be the biggest mistake for Roman to do, but this will never happen.

Chelsea’s defence has been pathetic to say the least. To allow eleven goals in thirteen league games makes sense, but to go and allow six goals in just two games is just not ok. The so called soccer analysist would have had a field day talking about what nots and ifs had david luiz played in these matches. Mourinho save the blushes and choose players for their merits and not just your friendship. We know you love JT and superfrankie, but i suggest you have your love affairs outside of stamford bridge than on field. Its killing us.

Am tired with Jose,it seem u came to destroy our team u nid 2b fired b4 tz too late,Terry is old,Peter cech is old and Lampard.we nid our first keeper 2b back from athletico madrid hop u know wot am talkin about.in our defence plz Azpilicueta,Cahili,David Luiz and Cole has to start evry match,it rchez atym where energy cannot applied bt brain.We’re runing out of patient bcoz seeing john terry,Ivanovic,Lamparden Cech in our startin line-up plz.

Moronho was told 100 times…
Terry is too slow and static. All his passing is to a neighbour defender…
By the contrary Luis is more dynamic and permits to have a floating defence to reduce the pitch size.
Is stupid from Moronho to try to conclude Luis is not a good defender. Nobody believe that.
This shows how incapable as a manager is Moronho.
