Birmingham have offered Terry contract, says Redknapp

Harry Redknapp has told Talksport that Birmingham City have offered a contract to John Terry.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 36-year-old former England captain, who is leaving Chelsea after making 717 appearances and winning 13 major trophies in his 22 years at Stamford Bridge.

Birmingham’s former QPR boss Redknapp is a huge admirer of Terry and hopes to persuade him to move to St Andrews.

Redknapp said: “We’ve made him a good offer and we have done the best we can.

“It’s up to John now, but we would love him at Birmingham.”
