Nathan Ake featured for Chelsea’s Under-21 side as they won 5-1 at non-League Ilkeston in a pre-season friendly.

The Dutch teenager, who has been tipped for a loan move away from Stamford Bridge, played the first half of the match.

John Swift’s early goal put the Blues ahead before Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box, and Ulises Davila then made it 3-0.

Ilkeston, managed by former Chelsea striker Kevin Wilson, managed to pull a goal back through Jason Stokes.

But the visitors stepped up a gear, with goals from Alex Kiwomya and Lewis Baker completing a resounding victory.
