Chelsea youngster Jake Clarke-Salter says he is keen to imitate Blues legend John Terry.
Former Chelsea captain Terry mentored the likes of Clarke-Salter before leaving Stamford Bridge last summer and remains a popular figure at the club.
Defender Clarke-Salter, currently on loan at Sunderland, said: “I grew up watching JT at Chelsea.
“He’s a quality defender. He can do both; organise and play technically.
“He’s someone I look up to and try to imitate him. He gave me a lot of good advice at Chelsea.”
Clarke-Salter scored against Romania on his England Under-21 debut last week and could feature again against Ukraine on Tuesday.
