Chelsea Ladies thrash PSG in friendly
Fran Kirby netted twice and new signing Karen Carney also scored as Chelsea Ladies thrashed Paris St-Germain’s women’s side 5-1 in a pre-season friendly.
The English champions were 4-1 up at half-time in Paris after Kirby’s brace and goals from Millie Bright and Gemma Davison.
And England international Carney, a recent signing from Birmingham, completed a resounding Chelsea win.
Emma Hayes’ team will begin the defence of their FA Women’s Super League 1 crown with a trip to newly-promoted Doncaster Rovers Belles on 24 March.
