Chelsea Ladies winger Gemma Davison has been called up to the England squad for Thursday’s international against China in Manchester.
Davison, 27, scored both goals as Chelsea began their Women’s Super League season with a 2-1 win away against Notts County.
And the summer signing from Liverpool was also on target in the 4-0 victory over Bristol Academy that saw the Blues maintain the only 100% record in the division.
This week’s friendly at Manchester City’s Academy Stadium is England’s final warm-up match before the World Cup in Canada, which begins in May.
Davison has five England caps and joins fellow Chelsea players Eni Aluko, Claire Rafferty and Katie Chapman in the squad.
Chelsea Ladies play their first home FA Women’s Super League game of the season against Liverpool on Sunday 19 April at Wheatsheaf Park, Staines Town FC. Kick-off is at 2pm and tickets are currently available priced at £5 for adults and £3 for juniors/seniors.
