Chelsea Ladies hit back to beat Liverpol
Eni Aluko inspired a dramatic comeback in her farewell game and Ji So-yun scored twice as Chelsea Ladies came back from two down to win 3-2 against Liverpool.
It meant Emma Hayes’ side, who won the league and cup double, ended their Women’s Super League 1 campaign unbeaten.
The undefeated record was under serious threat as goals from Jess Clarke and Niamh Charles put the home team 2-0 up after only nine minutes.
But Aluko, making her final appearance for the Blues before moving on in the summer, pulled one back with 20 minutes to play before creating the visitors’ equaliser for Ji.
Ji then curled home a superb winner with six minutes remaining to clinch victory.
