Eni Aluko’s double and a debut goal from record signing Fran Kirby earned Chelsea Ladies a thumping 4-0 win over Birmingham City Ladies to send them top of the table.
Aluko opened the scoring from close range after a fine team move.
And despite Gemma Davison’s first-half dismissal following a second caution for diving, Chelsea remained on top.
Gilly Flaherty turned in the excellent Ji So-Yun’s corner in first-half injury-time to double the lead.
Aluko added a third from the penalty spot soon after the break following Aoife Mannion’s handball.
And Kirby raced through and blasted the ball home to cap a superb team display.
