Tom Field will join the Brentford first-team squad on a pre-season trip to Germany this summer.
The 19-year-old academy product made his first senior appearance as the Bees embarrassed their rivals Fulham 3-0 at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Playing in place of injured captain Jake Bidwell, Field impressed for the home side – and Brentford are keen to involve him more at first-team level.
They will be in Germany for a training camp between 9 and 13 July and will play a friendly against Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum.
The Bees have also lined up friendlies away to National League side Boreham Wood on Friday 8 July and League Two Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday 19 July.
They will host another Bundesliga 2 side, four-time German champions FC Kaiserslautern, at Griffin Park on Saturday 23 July, with two more friendlies – on Tuesday 26 July and Saturday 30 July – to be announced.
Field, who signed a development-squad contract until 2017 last November, said he felt comfortable playing in the Championship.
He told West London Sport: “The level was definitely a step up. After about 10 minutes I looked at the clock thinking it had been about 30.
“But I felt comfortable. I’m delighted to have made my debut and I’m excited about my future with the club.”
