Out-of-favour midfielder Sam Saunders may look to leave Brentford on loan if his first-team opportunities remain limited.
The 29-year-old has not started a league game since November and has made only 11 starts in all competitions this season.
“At the moment I’m not looking to get out but if my playing time remains limited in a month or so, a loan is something I’ll look at,” he told West London Sport.
“I’m happy with everything here at Brentford – I’m at a club that is going places, challenging for promotion.
“The only thing I’m not happy about is my minutes on the pitch and hopefully that is something that will improve.”
Saunders added: “Unfortunately we’ve been playing a lot of Tuesday night games and that stops me turning out for the reserves on the same day.
“But I want to play my part for this team – it’s a squad game – and when the manager calls on me I’ll be ready.”
