Rothwell joins Bees on trial

Brentford have handed a trial to teenage defender Zach Rothwell.

The 19-year-old is available as his contract at Bury expired at the end of last season.

Primarily a right-back, Rothwell can also play in central midfield. He signed a one-year deal with Bury in 2010 but was unable to establish himself in their first team.
