Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has played down his side’s chances of winning the League One title after they beat Notts County to move to within two points of leaders Doncaster.
Bees midfielder Adam Forshaw told West London Sport last week the team have set their sights on being champions – and they secured a third successive win on Friday, with seven games remaining.
But Rosler said: “It is too early to say. There will be more twists and turns between now and the end of the season.
“I don’t expect anyone to win every game. The only team with an outside chance of doing that is Bournemouth. Everyone else will drop points, including us.
“We have got to win our two home games and I’m glad to see attendances going up, because that will help us.
“We have to address each game. We cannot look too far ahead. We take game after game – that is the best recipe for us.”
